Ok let me share something little bit old....Few months ago i was in Bahrain, i rented a car and it got hit while it was parked in the hotel, there was some scratches *little polish will remove it!
The rent a car office was in the Airport, i went there and i never thought they will find these scratches,,, well i was wrong they found them and that employee was REALLY fast on flipping the contract papers and without even looking he pointed his finger to an atricle where it says (if car was hit or got any scratch without informing the police the driver have to pay a 200 Bahraini Dinar penalty!!!!
my plane was taking off within 90 min! i started negotiating with the staff, they didn't care about anything they told me (either pay or we will call the police and they will make report on which if you found guilty you will pay us, otherwise you're free to go!
in the end we reached a settlement of 120BD plus of course the rent fees
this was the only solution not to miss my plane...
